We are pleased to share that top papers from The 2nd International Conference on Internationalisation and Sustainability in Higher Education (ICIS2026) will have the opportunity for publication in a Special Issue of Transitions: Journal of Transient Migration, a Q1-ranked international multi-disciplinary journal focusing on transient migration, mobility, and global social transformations.

🏆 Top 8 - 10 papers of ICIS2026 will be invited to submit to the Special Issue titled: “Reframing Internationalization Through Transient Mobility and Sustainability in Higher Education”. Following the journal’s evaluation process, approximately 4-5 outstanding papers are accepted for publication.

As a Q1-ranked journal, Transitions maintains a rigorous peer-review process. All submitted manuscripts first undergo initial editorial screening, followed by anonymous peer review by two independent referees to ensure high academic standards, originality, and methodological rigor.
